Area Maintenance Head

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Area Maintenance Head to lead daily maintenance activities for a petrochemical plant in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. The role ensures corrective, preventive and predictive work on mechanical, instrumentation, electrical and rotating equipment is performed safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all contractor‑executed maintenance jobs across all disciplines.
• Maintain accurate records in the CMMS and provide regular status reports.
• Support planning and scheduling teams and coordinate with other supervisors.
• Prepare weekly performance reports and present them in maintenance meetings.
• Contribute to strategic area plans to align day‑to‑day operations with safety and quality objectives.
• Ensure personnel receive job‑specific training in collaboration with HR.
• Monitor and enforce HSE requirements throughout execution phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of maintenance experience in a refinery or petrochemical environment.
• Strong background in mechanical, electrical or instrumentation systems.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proven leadership and people‑management capabilities.
