Area Manager, Fulfillment Center Operations

About the role

As an Area Manager in a fulfillment center, you will lead a diverse team to ensure operations keep pace with customer demand. This hands‑on position offers exposure to the complexity of a global logistics business and the chance to drive safety, productivity, and quality across multiple shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing throughout the site.
• Analyse performance data and implement corrective actions to maintain high quality and productivity.
• Support and lead a team, handling administrative tasks while building a strong team culture.
• Identify process improvements and optimise workflows to enhance customer service.
• Collaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes and drive operational consistency.

Required profile

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
