Asset Operations Manager – Makkah

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Asset Operations Manager to lead the planning, operation, and maintenance of a diverse portfolio of operational assets in Makkah. Reporting to the COO, you will ensure assets are safe, reliable, and performing at peak efficiency while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operation and maintenance of all operational assets to guarantee safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, maintenance plans, policies, and procedures aligned with business objectives.
• Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize asset availability.
• Monitor performance KPIs, asset health, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with contracts, SLAs, and quality standards.
• Control operational and maintenance budgets, identifying cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, utility providers, and government authorities.
• Support transition and operational readiness of newly completed assets.
• Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and performance updates for senior management.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Asset Operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, Asset Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Asset Operations, Facilities Management, Infrastructure Operations or Maintenance Management.
• At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management, maintenance planning, and reliability.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Experience handling operational and maintenance budgets.
• Solid understanding of HSE compliance and risk management.
