Assistant Manager – Distribution Center (Bonded Warehouse)

About the role

Chalhoub Group, a luxury retailer with over 950 stores and online platforms, is hiring an Assistant Manager for its Distribution Center in Tawreed, Riyadh. The role oversees daily warehouse operations in a bonded warehouse environment, covering inventory, order fulfilment, dispatch and fleet coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise goods receipt, put-away, order preparation, dispatch, value-added services and housekeeping, and allocate manpower and equipment to meet targets.
• Lead shift teams, give on-the-job coaching, run briefings and ensure accurate shift reports and handovers.
• Oversee WMS put-away strategies, inventory accuracy, stock handling and damage prevention, and optimise storage space, staffing, machinery and consumables.
• Coordinate route planning, vehicle loading, delivery documentation and delivery updates, and monitor fleet operations, inspections, servicing and distribution costs such as fuel and maintenance.
• Enforce standard operating procedures, health and safety rules, security controls and bonded warehouse requirements, and report breaches to management.
• Analyse operational performance and recommend improvements to efficiency, accuracy and the Quality Management System.
