Assistant Manager – Instock

About the role

Noon is looking for an Assistant Manager Instock to ensure optimal stock availability and inventory health for both food and non‑food categories. You will own the performance of assigned categories, driving accurate demand forecasts, replenishment plans and efficient warehouse space utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain demand forecasts and replenishment plans, leading the S&OP cycle.
• Monitor stock levels, out‑of‑stock percentages, overstock and waste, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Plan and optimise warehouse space and capacity usage.
• Support promotions, seasonal planning and collaborate with Commercial and Operations teams.
• Provide actionable insights from sales, inventory and space‑utilisation data.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, category operations or business analytics, preferably in e‑commerce, quick commerce, retail or FMCG.
• Strong analytical instinct with the ability to detect and explain data anomalies.
• Clear communication and stakeholder‑management skills for daily coordination with buyers, warehouse managers and ops leads.
• Bias for action and comfort working in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment.

Required skills

• SQL – ability to pull, join and aggregate large data sets.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets – modelling, pivots and reporting.
• Python – for data manipulation and analysis.
• Demand forecasting concepts and metrics (trend, seasonality, MAPE, WMAPE).
• BI tools for visualising inventory and space data.
