Assistant Manager – Supply Chain Excellence

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to support the Supply Chain Director in driving performance, efficiency and data‑driven decision‑making across the end‑to‑end supply chain. The role will focus on planning accuracy, inventory optimisation, cost control, supplier performance and logistics efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support the S&OP/IBP process by consolidating inputs from Sales, Finance and Operations and monitoring demand‑supply alignment.
• Track and improve forecast accuracy and provide actionable insights for decision‑making.
• Monitor inventory levels, identify slow‑moving or excess stock and optimise inventory against service targets.
• Track logistics performance and costs, optimise fleet utilisation and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Track supplier performance (OTIF, lead time), analyse reliability and support cost optimisation and supplier evaluations.
• Develop dashboards and reports, standardise KPIs and ensure timely, accurate reporting for executives.
• Support ERP/SAP usage, ensure data accuracy, recommend system improvements and drive automation.
• Act as liaison across functions to ensure plan alignment and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• 4–6 years of supply chain experience, preferably in an FMCG environment.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
• Professional certifications such as APICS, CPIM or CSCP are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP.
