Assistant Manager, Technology

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Technology will lead the design, development and support of enterprise applications across multiple business functions. This full‑stack position combines Java‑based backend work with modern front‑end frameworks and ensures reliable, secure delivery of software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Swing, JSF, Angular/React and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services and integrate them with Oracle and MySQL databases.
• Develop, optimise and maintain PL/SQL procedures, queries, packages and other database objects.
• Manage application deployment and configuration on JBoss and WebLogic servers.
• Use Maven and ANT for build and dependency management.
• Create reports with Jasper Reports or BIRT.
• Implement containerised solutions with Docker and support CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Maintain source code repositories using Git or SVN and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with business users, stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in project planning, testing, rollout and support activities while ensuring performance, scalability, reliability and security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in full‑stack development.
• Experience working on projects within the catering domain.
• Knowledge of deployment automation and DevOps practices.
