Assistant Professor of Practice – Philosophy

About the role

The College of Business and Digital Innovation at the University of New Haven – Riyadh seeks an Assistant Professor of Practice in Philosophy to join its inaugural faculty. The position begins in January 2027 and combines teaching, curriculum development, and applied research in a vibrant, internationally accredited environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate philosophy courses, including Introduction to Philosophy, in English.
• Collect and analyze learning assessment data to support academic quality.
• Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of innovative curricula.
• Mentor and advise students, fostering professional development and career readiness.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities.
• Engage in student‑focused initiatives that enhance campus life.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Philosophy (or M.A. with significant college‑level teaching experience).
• Minimum of two years of demonstrated excellence in college‑level philosophy teaching.
• Strong communication skills and a student‑centered teaching philosophy.
• Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration within a business‑focused college.
