Assistant Restaurant Manager – Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah. You will support the Restaurant Manager in delivering exceptional service and ensuring smooth daily operations in a 5‑star environment close to Al Masjid Al Nabawi.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising daily operations and maintaining smooth service.
• Lead and motivate staff to uphold high standards of food quality and customer service.
• Manage inventory, place orders, and implement cost‑control measures to maximize profitability.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Participate in menu planning and implementation of new initiatives.
• Assist in staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Step in for the Restaurant Manager when necessary, demonstrating strong leadership.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food preparation.
• Analyze sales data and suggest improvements to increase revenue.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Required profile

• Saudi nationality required.
• Previous experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role in the food‑service industry.
• Proficiency in restaurant management software and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
