About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The role supports the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, ensuring high‑quality service and a memorable guest experience in a 5‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising daily restaurant operations and maintaining smooth service flow.
• Lead, motivate and train staff to uphold high standards of food quality and customer service.
• Manage inventory, place orders and implement cost‑control measures to maximise profitability.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Participate in menu planning and launch new initiatives.
• Create staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations and step in for the Restaurant Manager when needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen teams to guarantee timely and quality food preparation.
• Analyse sales data and suggest improvements to increase revenue.

Required profile

• Saudi nationality.
• Previous experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role within the food‑service industry.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant management software.
• Experience using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
