Associate Surveyor (Saudi National)

About the role

Parsons is looking for a motivated Associate Surveyor to support surveying and site‑measurement activities on a hospitality construction project in Saudi Arabia. The role works closely with the Senior Surveyor, site engineers, contractors and the project management team to ensure works follow approved drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with site surveys, setting‑out, dimensional checks and establishment of survey control points.
• Carry out level, alignment, elevation and position checks for foundations, structures, services and external works using total stations, GPS equipment and laser levels.
• Review construction drawings, record accurate field measurements and maintain organized survey documentation.
• Prepare as‑built surveys, sketches and detailed survey reports, and flag any discrepancies between site conditions and approved drawings.
• Support quantity verification, progress measurement and subcontractor setting‑out checks.
• Maintain survey equipment, report defects and follow health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Construction or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of surveying experience on construction sites, preferably in hospitality, commercial or mixed‑use projects.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, coordinates, levels and basic surveying practices.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of surveying software is an advantage.
• Ability to operate total stations, levels, GPS equipment and related instruments.
• Valid professional or technical certifications where required by local regulations.
