Associate Technical Professional - Civil

About the role

The Associate Technical Professional – Civil supports the study, design, specification and delivery of a wide range of civil engineering projects. Working under direct supervision, you will apply standard engineering techniques to transportation systems, infrastructure, water and wastewater facilities, and geotechnical works.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct design and specification tasks for roads, rail, airports, seaports, bridges, drainage and underground utilities.
• Perform hydrology, hydraulics, water treatment, distribution, wastewater collection and treatment analyses.
• Support water resources, raw water supply, tunnel and geotechnical design activities.
• Prepare conventional plans, investigations and surveys, adapting standard methods where necessary.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to assist on larger, more complex assignments.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Civil or related Engineering.
• Ability to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering procedures with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to project-specific requirements.

Required skills

• Fundamental knowledge of civil engineering design principles.
• Understanding of transportation, infrastructure, water and wastewater systems.
• Basic proficiency in engineering calculations and drafting.
