Audio Visual Technician

About the role

Exceptional hospitality starts with you. As an Audio Visual Technician at Hilton, you will support the engineering team and handle work‑order maintenance while ensuring hotel AV equipment operates flawlessly. Your role is to create memorable experiences for guests by delivering reliable audio‑visual services for events and daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sound systems, microphones, projectors, screens, lighting and video equipment.
• Set up, operate and monitor AV equipment for meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings and other hotel events.
• Troubleshoot AV‑related issues promptly to avoid interruptions.
• Install, configure, test and dismantle AV gear according to event schedules.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
• Monitor audio, video, lighting and presentation systems during events and adjust as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of AV equipment, tools, cables and accessories.
• Collaborate with guests, event organizers and hotel departments to understand AV requirements.
• Document maintenance activities, equipment issues and repairs.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality and strong sense of integrity.
• Team‑oriented mindset with ownership and accountability.
• Familiarity with large data‑centre infrastructure (power, HVAC, fire control, security, monitoring, network).
• Willingness to work day and night monitoring shifts.
• Strong responsibility, professionalism and ability to learn quickly.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to work independently.
