Audit Manager – Insurance (Riyadh)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead insurance audit engagements in Riyadh. You will be responsible for coordinating audit teams, managing specialist input, and ensuring high‑quality audit deliverables for insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Understand key statistics and industry matters of the client before engagement begins, reviewing prior year financial statements and audit documentation.
• Allocate responsibilities between the engagement team and experts/specialists, defining timescales and contribution to audit objectives.
• Coordinate with management and specialists to meet key deliverables and deadlines.
• Track findings, follow up on work performed by team members, and ensure appropriate professional skepticism throughout procedures.
• Sign off on work, complete checklists, and verify that others have signed off correctly.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, identify early audit priorities, and anticipate contingency plans.
• Prepare and review documentation that anticipates reviewer questions, including facts, analysis, authoritative references, and professional judgments.

Required profile

• Manager‑level experience in audit and assurance, preferably within the insurance sector.
• Proven ability to lead audit teams, manage specialist input, and deliver high‑quality audit outcomes.
