About the role
The Aviation Accounting Auditor ensures the accuracy of financial records, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency within the aviation sector. This full‑time position involves detailed audit work across financial, regulatory, and operational domains.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct financial audits of statements, general ledger entries, payroll, and fixed assets, ensuring adherence to GAAP and IFRS.
- Validate invoices, payment requests, reconciliations and other accounting documents before senior management approval.
- Verify compliance with aviation‑specific regulations, tax laws, airport fees, leasing agreements, warranty programs and insurance requirements.
- Audit operational costs such as fuel, maintenance, handling, catering, training, and procurement processes.
- Identify financial, operational and regulatory risks and recommend corrective actions.
