B2 Technical Instructor – Helicopter Maintenance

About the role

The B2 Instructor will lead technical training for H145 helicopter maintenance technicians at Airbus Helicopters Arabia. The role combines hands‑on maintenance expertise with curriculum design to ensure both new and experienced technicians achieve required competency levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and deliver on‑the‑job (OJT) training curricula for H145 maintenance.
• Create teaching aids such as charts, handouts, slides and visual guides.
• Conduct classroom and practical sessions, supervising trainees during evaluations.
• Maintain accurate training records in compliance with PSS/GSAC policies using Microsoft Office tools.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate technical updates into training material.
• Perform technical writing tasks for manuals and instructional documents.

Required profile

• Diploma in avionics or equivalent recognized aviation training (minimum 2 years).
• At least 5 years of proven H145 maintenance experience (military or civilian).
• Minimum 3 years experience as a technical instructor.
• Type rating on the H145 from an approved OEM organization.
• Experience developing OJT curricula and instructional aids.
• Instructor qualification certificate from a recognized body.
• English proficiency of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain Saudi security clearance.
