About the role

Join the culinary team at the Jabal Omar Marriott Hotel in Makkah as a Baker. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality baked goods while adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
• Portion, chop, and store ingredients before use.
• Operate baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances safely.
• Monitor kitchen appliance and food temperatures and report any issues.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, including set‑up and break‑down of stations.
• Ensure consistent food quality and portion control throughout the shift.
• Follow all company safety, security, and hygiene policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related bakery or food‑service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
