Banquet Captain

About the role

The Banquet Captain will lead service teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences for group functions at our Riyadh property. You will coordinate with chefs, stewards, and guests to ensure smooth operations, from setup through billing.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate service needs to kitchen staff and stewards throughout events.
• Prepare and present group checks for payment.
• Ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee‑break areas are ready for service.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards, including proper centerpieces.
• Inspect cleanliness and presentation of china, glassware, and silverware before use.
• Address guest satisfaction, dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to safety and security policies.
• Uphold uniform standards, confidentiality, and protection of company assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant food‑and‑beverage experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 25 lb without assistance.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
