Barista

About the role

The Barista will craft espresso‑based drinks, teas and specialty beverages for guests at FAENA’s new café in Saudi Arabia. This role combines precise beverage preparation with warm, attentive service in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare espresso‑based drinks, teas and specialty beverages according to exact recipes and standards.
• Maintain consistent quality, presentation and timely delivery of all beverages.
• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service to enhance the guest experience.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized and fully stocked throughout service.
• Monitor and replenish coffee, milk, syrups and related supplies proactively.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders and brewing equipment safely, reporting any issues promptly.
• Uphold all food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Process guest orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge to recommend and upsell specialty drinks.
• Assist with setup before service and breakdown/cleaning after shifts.

Required profile

• At least one month of experience in a coffee‑service environment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
