Bell Captain

About the role

The Bell Captain is a full‑time, on‑site position at SERB Group’s hotel in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah. You will lead the bell service team, ensuring smooth guest arrivals and departures while delivering a high standard of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule bell attendants, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.
• Escort guests to their rooms when required and provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Maintain accurate records of guest requests, luggage handling, and storage equipment usage.
• Collaborate with front office, concierge, and security teams to ensure seamless guest flow.
• Monitor service standards, resolve guest concerns related to bell operations, and implement corrective actions.
• Train team members on safety procedures, manual handling practices, and customer service guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to greet guests professionally and handle inquiries courteously.
• Experience supervising or coordinating frontline hospitality teams, including task delegation and shift organization.
• Good communication skills in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Ability to manage luggage handling safely and protect guest property.
• Familiarity with hotel front‑office procedures and collaboration with reception and concierge.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for tracking arrivals, departures, and special requests.
• Capability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced environment, standing and walking for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality‑related certifications are advantageous.
