Bell Captain – Luxury Hotel Guest Services

About the role

The Bell Captain leads the Bell Services team at Raffles The Red Sea, ensuring every guest arrival, departure and in‑house movement is handled with warmth, efficiency and elegance. This senior position combines hands‑on guest interaction with team leadership in a luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all guest arrival, departure and internal movement experiences, providing prompt and courteous service.
• Recognise VIPs, repeat guests and special occasions, coordinating personalized greetings and handling.
• Manage luggage handling, storage and delivery with the highest standards of care, accuracy and discretion.
• Lead, coach and supervise Bell Attendants, Doormen and related staff, conducting daily briefings and ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
• Coordinate closely with Front Desk, Concierge, Guest Relations, Valet and Security to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor luggage storage areas, logbooks and tracking systems to prevent loss or damage.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the porte‑cochère, lobby entrances and bell desk areas.
• Oversee special arrangements for VIPs, groups, long‑stay guests and events, supporting service recovery when needed.
• Uphold grooming, etiquette and communication standards, ensuring safety, security and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Bell Services or Front Office within a luxury or five‑star hotel.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is required.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management is an advantage.
