About the role
The Billing Coordinator ensures daily billing and claims activities run smoothly, delivering accurate patient invoices and compliant insurance submissions. This position supports the revenue cycle by coordinating with clinical, admissions, and finance teams.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and verify patient invoices and billing documents.
- Enter charges accurately and reconcile billing records.
- Support insurance eligibility checks and pre‑authorizations.
- Submit insurance claims through NPHIES and follow up on outstanding items.
- Communicate with insurers to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain up‑to‑date billing documentation and assist in denial tracking and resubmission.
- Respond to patient and internal inquiries regarding billing.
- Support audits, reconciliations, and financial reviews.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Medical billing or coding certification is a plus.
- 2–4 years of experience in healthcare billing or revenue cycle management.
- Experience in long‑term care, rehabilitation, or hospital settings preferred.
- Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English.
Required skills
- Strong understanding of healthcare billing and revenue‑cycle processes.
- Knowledge of insurer workflows and claim submission procedures.
- Basic reporting and reconciliation abilities.
