BIM Coordinator

About the role

The BIM Coordinator will lead the development, coordination, and implementation of BIM processes and standards across multidisciplinary projects for Surbana Jurong in Jeddah. Reporting to the Design and Engineering team, the role ensures model integrity, data accuracy, and effective collaboration among design disciplines and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM workflows and ensure model accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Manage and integrate models from architecture, structural, MEP and other disciplines, performing clash detection and coordination.
• Support project teams in setting up, developing, and managing BIM models throughout design and construction phases.
• Conduct quality checks and resolve model‑related issues to maintain data quality.
• Assist in preparing and updating BIM documentation, standards, templates, and protocols.
• Collaborate with design managers, discipline leads, and contractors to align BIM outputs with project objectives.
• Provide technical BIM support, guidance, and training to project team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of BIM coordination experience on multidisciplinary design or infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record managing BIM for large‑scale or complex projects.
• Experience with international BIM standards such as ISO 19650.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and meet deadlines.
