Brokerage Operations Manager – Saudi

About the role

Alpaca is expanding its brokerage infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and needs a hands‑on manager to build and scale the local operating model. You will design processes, controls and workflows for equities and cash operations while working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, document and continuously improve SOPs, WSPs, operational controls and escalation procedures for Saudi brokerage activities.
• Support day‑to‑day equities operations, covering the full trade lifecycle and post‑trade workflows.
• Manage cash movement processes, including deposits, withdrawals, funding, settlement, reconciliations and exception handling.
• Monitor daily operational activity, investigate breaks, and coordinate timely resolution.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Finance, Treasury and external partners to design scalable workflows.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability and scalability.

Required profile

• 3–7+ years of experience in brokerage, securities, capital markets or financial‑services operations, preferably with direct Saudi market exposure.
• Hands‑on experience with equities, trade operations, cash operations or securities settlement.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, settlement, reconciliations, cash movements and operational exception management.
• Proven ability to investigate issues, determine root causes and drive resolutions.
• Excellent attention to detail, risk awareness and ability to work independently in a fast‑changing environment.
