Business Analyst

About the role

The Business Analyst will work with banking and finance clients to translate business needs into clear documentation and functional solutions. You will collaborate with data science, development, and client teams to ensure successful delivery of credit‑related platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and document requirements, producing BRDs and user stories for banking clients.
• Map and model current and target processes (As‑Is and To‑Be) and create business rules and decision matrices for credit strategies.
• Prepare acceptance test cases, support UAT, and obtain sign‑off.
• Work with the data‑science team to convert model outputs into functional requirements and monitoring dashboards.
• Prepare status reports, meeting minutes, and manage scope changes.
• Run client workshops and present solutions to business teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on business analysis experience, preferably in banking, finance or a technology provider.
• Good knowledge of the credit lifecycle (application, verification, decisioning, monitoring, delinquency, collections).
• Ability to write client‑facing requirements in both Arabic and English.
• Proficiency in SQL for data queries and advanced Excel for analysis.
• Experience with documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence or Visio.
