Business Development Director

About the role

Extend is a Saudi cultural intelligence and advertising company that has been operating since 2012. The Business Development Director will lead the founding sales seat for the Extend Cultural Intelligence Platform (CIP), responsible for acquiring new brands and agencies and driving platform ad spend from first deposit to live campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and close Saudi brands and agencies that are not yet using the CIP platform.
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, pitch, negotiation, agreement signing and securing the first funded deposit.
• Build and manage a disciplined pipeline through targeted outreach, industry presence and strategic account planning.
• Present live platform demonstrations and articulate differentiated value against point solutions and managed services.
• Develop winning strategies for competitive opportunities, including RFP responses and new‑business pitches.
• Hand off accounts to Account Management while staying engaged through the first campaigns to protect early spend.

Required profile

• 6+ years of digital media or ad‑tech sales experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC, with a strong record of net‑new business development.
• Proven quota‑carrying success selling advertising or media intelligence platforms (DSP, social ad, influencer or social listening tools).
• Established network among Saudi brands, agencies and senior marketing leadership.
• Executive presence and ability to influence C‑level decision‑makers and manage complex negotiations.
• Strategic, analytical mindset with strong commercial judgment and a hunter mentality.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
