Business Development Manager – Health & Benefits

About the role

The Business Development Manager for Health & Benefits (H&B) will drive growth for WTW across Saudi Arabia by building a robust pipeline of existing and new prospects. You will identify client needs, communicate WTW’s value proposition and ensure financially sound relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a pipeline of existing WTW and new‑to‑WTW prospects.
• Identify explicit and implied client needs through probing questions.
• Ensure client relationships are secure, financially sound and aligned with WTW policies.
• Collaborate with the wider H&B team to design solutions that improve client experience.
• Promote WTW’s capabilities and value proposition using marketing materials.
• Provide local market insights and monitor changes affecting the sales process.
• Build cross‑functional relationships to generate new sales and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Adopt and utilise WTW sales tracking tools and CRM for pipeline management.
• Work with the H&B Leader to define client segments, sales strategy and regional implementation.
• Maintain compliance with WTW guidelines and the Excellence Framework.
• Penetrate the local market to acquire new clients and meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Track, analyse and present sales metrics to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (IFCE certified preferred).
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• 5‑10 years of experience in the Health & Benefits market and insurance broking.
• Proven track record of acquiring new Health & Benefits clients in large and mid‑market segments.
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Ability to represent WTW with integrity and credibility.
