Business Development Manager - Software Sales (KSA Government Experience)

About the role

Azeus Systems Limited is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its growing sales force for Azeus Convene, a meeting and collaboration solution for Boards and Senior Leadership Teams. The role is based in KSA and involves significant interaction with clients, prospects, partners and Azeus personnel, face-to-face or by other means. Candidates must be willing to travel within the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Independently achieve a sales target of 500K USD ARR through proactive business development and sales strategies.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to show the value of the software to potential clients.
• Generate Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) through targeted outreach and networking.
• Work with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover from lead generation to deal closure.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitors and market conditions to spot new opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT software sales in the assigned region.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating leads.
• Experience selling software to BFSI, government, listed companies and large enterprises.
• Education in Business Management; Computer Science background is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience demonstrating products to potential clients, including C-Suite representatives.
• Academic record of at least 70% overall.
• Available to join within a 1-2 month notice period.
