Business Development Representative

About the role

The Business Development Representative will drive sales of ABS Quality Evaluations services within an assigned region, leveraging local affiliate networks to expand the client base and achieve growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Sell ABS QE services using the strength of local affiliates’ business structure.
• Define and maintain target prospect lists and conduct client prospecting.
• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to meet defined targets.
• Provide sales forecasts and market/customer insights for planning.
• Prepare and follow up on local proposals, conduct client presentations, and support operations to ensure service delivery.
• Assist with collections and communicate regularly with the Director of Business Development or Country Manager.
• Participate in special projects and teams to support overall business development.
• Meet or exceed delegated sales targets while staying within expense budgets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent.
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in the industry, especially in manufacturing or technical services.
• Self‑motivated with a proven track record in sales leadership.
• High energy, results‑focused, and comfortable in multicultural environments.
• Strong communication skills with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to quickly learn ABS rules, guides, statutory regulations, and safety policies.
