Business Development Specialist

About the role

The Business Development Specialist provides ongoing support to the regional business development team, helping to identify revenue‑generating opportunities and ensuring that all required documentation and databases are up‑to‑date. The role works closely with internal teams and, when needed, external customers under supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Support regional business development staff (segments and regionals) on daily tasks.
• Maintain and update client, vendor and subcontractor databases.
• Collect and create project certification records, including TOACs and satisfaction letters.
• Prepare pre‑qualification lists and manage multiple project requests simultaneously.
• Assist in the analysis of ITBs (Instruction to Bidders) and produce analytical reports on threats and opportunities.
• Handle bid financial inquiries, including bid bond issuance follow‑up.
• Generate reports and perform data analysis as a focal user for the division’s reporting system.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to provide content for pipeline updates, project announcements, and customer kits.
• Act as a quality representative for the commercial sector and advise on process improvements.
• Perform administrative tasks and adapt work schedule to business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant field experience.
• Overall professional experience ranging from 2 to 4 years.
