Business Development Specialist – Sales Acquisition

About the role

The Business Development Specialist (Sales Acquisition) will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities within the food and beverage sector. You will build strategic relationships, present our solutions, and drive revenue growth for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research potential new clients in the food and beverage industry.
• Develop and implement strategies to acquire new business and expand market share.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers within target organisations.
• Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase offerings and capabilities.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale to close deals and achieve revenue targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of new clients.
• Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
• Track and report on sales performance and market trends to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business.
• At least 1 year of sales or account management experience.
• Proven track record of success in sales acquisition, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and business development principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decision‑makers.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, competitive environment and adapt to changing priorities.
