Business Planning Engineer

About the role

The Business Planning Engineer will support Tasnee’s petrochemical operations by managing inventory, preparing forecasts, and developing economic models that drive profitability. This role involves close coordination with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies to ensure optimal capacity planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly forecasts in collaboration with raw material suppliers and olefins buyers.
• Coordinate with government departments, private parties and neighboring companies regarding raw material and utility supplies.
• Maintain and update departmental databases, master sheets and performance indicators.
• Review and calculate pipeline sales prices and prepare supply agreements.
• Develop and monitor economic models and olefin inventory management tools.
• Support plant tolling forecasts and produce high‑level management presentations.
• Participate in on‑call duty rotation for emergency and critical tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the petrochemical industry or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
