Cable Technician III - Artificial Lift

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Cable Technician III to join our Artificial Lift team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of downhole cable systems used in submersible pumps and motor equipment, supporting our global energy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, test, prepare, and repair downhole cable for field deployment.
• Conduct grounding tests, locate faults, and perform necessary repairs.
• Splice additional cable on motor leads and integrate with surface cable as required.
• Maintain weekly inventory of all yard cable and complete associated paperwork.
• Train and coach new hires on basic cable handling and safety procedures.
• Promote safety awareness, environmental compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of experience with cable testing, repair, or related field work.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Basic reading, writing, and computer skills.
