Canal Operator – Manufacturing (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Canal Operators to join a leading manufacturing company on a long‑term project in Saudi Arabia. The role involves managing canal navigation and lock operations for the ductile iron pipes and fittings production department.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate canals and maneuver vessels safely in accordance with waterway regulations.
• Operate and maintain lock systems to ensure smooth material flow.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and basic hydraulic maintenance on equipment.
• Monitor and enforce waterway safety and environmental compliance.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate communication via radio and hand signals.

Required profile

• Diploma, I.T.I. or equivalent 10th‑grade qualification.
• 5–8 years of experience in pipe manufacturing or related industrial environments.
• Proven experience with canal navigation and lock operation.
