Category Manager – Electronics

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead the Electronics category, shaping strategy, driving sales growth and profitability across consumer electronics, mobile, IT, gaming, accessories and home appliances.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall category strategy and growth plan.
• Plan and optimise product assortment, pricing and promotional calendars.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, rebates and promotional terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with merchandising and forecasting teams to ensure optimal stock.
• Analyse market trends, customer behaviour and competitive landscape, especially within the Saudi market.
• Report on commercial performance using BI tools and present insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of category management experience in electronics retail or e‑commerce.
• Proven track record managing multiple electronics sub‑categories and delivering growth.
• Established network with electronics brands, distributors and key suppliers.
• Strong analytical, commercial and negotiation capabilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Familiarity with ERP, forecasting and merchandising systems.
