Category Manager – Procurement & Supply Chain

About the role

The Category Manager will develop and execute category strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives. This role focuses on driving cost efficiencies, creating value, and building strong supplier relationships across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of category strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Perform spend analysis and market assessments to identify cost‑saving and value‑creation opportunities.
• Translate data insights into actionable sourcing strategies and procurement initiatives.
• Manage end‑to‑end sourcing activities, including RFx, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and challenge demand where appropriate.
• Support supplier management activities, including performance tracking and relationship management.
• Contribute to cost optimisation, efficiency improvement, and process standardisation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Prepare reports and dashboards to track category performance and savings delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in category management, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
