Cath Lab Technician / Specialist – Full‑time in Makkah

About the role

Abeer Medical Group is looking for a qualified Cath Lab Technician/Specialist to join the Saudi National Hospital team in Makkah. The successful candidate will support cardiac catheterisation procedures, ensure equipment readiness, and maintain high standards of patient care within the cath lab environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and operate cath lab equipment for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Assist physicians during catheterisation, monitoring patient status and equipment performance.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of imaging systems.
• Document procedures accurately and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
• Participate in emergency response and provide immediate support when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an Allied Health discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a cath lab setting.
• Valid registration with the Saudi Council for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Strong knowledge of cath lab operations, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Locally available and able to join immediately.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating cardiac catheterisation equipment.
• Understanding of imaging modalities used in cath labs.
• Ability to follow strict infection control and patient safety protocols.
