About the role
The CCR Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling the operation parameters of a power/water plant, ensuring safe and efficient performance while coordinating with other operators and shift supervisors.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and control unit/plant operation parameters and record periodic readings on log sheets.
- Follow safety rules, fire equipment procedures and emergency operation protocols.
- Coordinate with the Shift Charge Engineer, Shift Supervisor and other operators, reporting abnormalities and near‑misses.
- Execute lock‑out/tag‑out, equipment change‑over, protection tests and waste disposal as required.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Diploma.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a CCR/operator in a power or water plant.
- Familiarity with P&IDs, SOPs, control logics and Permit‑to‑Work procedures.
- Ability to work in a remote location and respond quickly to abnormal conditions.

- Power/Water plant operational activities.
- Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles.
- Emission monitoring and environmental/health impact of chemicals.
- Firefighting equipment, PPE and first‑aid measures.
- Identification, classification and disposal of waste.
- Basic computer skills.
