CCTV Operator

About the role

We are looking for a CCTV Operator to join our security team at the headquarters in Riyadh. The role involves continuous monitoring of live and recorded video feeds to detect incidents and support security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage continuously to detect security, safety, and operational incidents.
• Identify suspicious activities, unauthorized access, hazards, and emergencies and report them immediately through approved escalation channels.
• Maintain constant attention to assigned cameras and ensure uninterrupted monitoring throughout the shift.
• Operate CCTV, video management, playback, zoom, and camera‑control functions in accordance with approved procedures.
• Record all incidents, observations, actions, and communications accurately in the control‑room logbook or electronic system.
• Retrieve, review, and securely export footage when formally authorized, maintaining accuracy and chain‑of‑custody requirements.
• Protect the confidentiality of surveillance footage and comply with company policies, client requirements, and applicable privacy regulations.
• Conduct routine checks of cameras, monitors, recording equipment, and system status; promptly report faults or coverage gaps.
• Coordinate with security personnel, supervisors, emergency responders, and operational teams during incidents.
• Support incident investigations by providing accurate timelines, observations, and authorized video evidence.
• Follow emergency response procedures, including fire, intrusion, medical, and evacuation protocols.
• Maintain a secure, organized, and professional CCTV control‑room environment and prevent unauthorized access.
• Perform proper shift handovers, highlighting ongoing incidents, system faults, pending actions, and critical information.
• Comply with QHSE requirements, company policies, site instructions, and all applicable security procedures.
• Carry out other related duties assigned by the Security Supervisor or Project Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CCTV monitoring, security control‑room operations, or a similar role.
• CCTV/security training or a relevant certification is preferred.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site at the Riyadh headquarters.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established security and QHSE procedures.
