Change & Release Specialist

About the role

We are hiring a Change & Release Specialist on behalf of a leading banking organization in Riyadh. You will manage change and release activities across critical banking systems, ensuring deployments are smooth, controlled, and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end change management process: logging, impact assessment, approval, and closure.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate releases across development, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Run and facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
• Maintain release calendars, deployment plans, rollback plans, and release notes.
• Ensure all changes follow ITIL practices, internal policies, and SAMA audit requirements.
• Conduct post‑implementation reviews and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in change and/or release management, preferably in the banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes (ITIL v3/v4 certification preferred).
• Excellent coordination, communication, and risk‑management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during release windows.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or Jira Service Management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in applying ITIL v3/v4 frameworks.
