Chef de Cuisine

About the role

The Chef de Cuisine will lead the restaurant kitchen in Al Khobar, ensuring high‑quality, consistent food production while managing all culinary operations. This full‑time, on‑site position combines hands‑on cooking with team leadership and budget oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain culinary standards, food safety, and sanitation across all kitchen activities.
• Supervise kitchen shifts, coordinate cooks, and ensure compliance with Food & Beverage policies.
• Plan and manage food quantities, storage, and temperature control to meet daily production needs.
• Develop and update daily and seasonal menu items in collaboration with the team.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, and cost control while staying within the operating budget.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of culinary experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel & Restaurant Management with 2 years of experience.
• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team and manage day‑to‑day operations.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
