Chef de Partie – Luxury Hotel Kitchen

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join its kitchen team at the Ummahat Islands resort in Saudi Arabia. In this full-time position you will prepare a wide range of dishes, maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, and support the culinary team during busy service periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, substitute items and cold foods according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate and monitor temperatures of ovens, grills, broilers and roasters to ensure safe cooking conditions.
• Maintain food logs, portion controls, and garnish arrangements for consistent service.
• Communicate with the Chef and service staff about menu specials, excess inventory and out-of-stock items.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and coaching kitchen staff while serving as a role model.
• Follow all safety, security and sanitation policies, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant kitchen experience, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lb, and perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting and reaching.
