Chef de Partie – Oriental Cuisine

About the role

We are looking for a Chef de Partie specialized in Oriental cuisine to join the culinary team at Sheraton Riyadh Hotel & Towers. The role involves preparing high‑quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the service team in a fast‑paced, upscale environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special Oriental meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures and manage food thawing processes.
• Ensure proper portioning, plating, garnish, and maintain accurate food logs.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, communicate needs during busy periods, and inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage service staff on menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
• Follow all safety, security and hygiene policies, report incidents, and complete required safety training.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and coaching of kitchen staff as a role model.
• Maintain professional uniform and personal appearance, and protect company assets.
• Perform physical duties such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, and moving equipment safely.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in a hotel or upscale restaurant kitchen.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
