Chief Accountant – Hotel Finance

About the role

Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya is seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Chief Accountant to support the Finance Department and ensure the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity. The role requires strong hotel accounting experience and excellent English communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies, local regulations, and Hyatt standards.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and analysis for management review.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain proper documentation.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
• Support department heads with financial insights to improve operational performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Mandatory hotel accounting experience, preferably in a similar senior role.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
