Chief Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to lead our finance function in Al‑Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will hold a Chartered Accountant qualification and bring 7‑10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the hospitality and catering sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Prepare and present Management Information System (MIS) reports to support strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi financial regulations and international accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and working capital to maintain financial stability.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights for business decisions.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support timely audit completion.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions to sustain strong relationships.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets aligned with company objectives.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend performance‑enhancing strategies.
• Support senior management with variance analysis and financial modeling.
• Ensure accurate payroll processing and employee settlements.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Experience in hospitality and catering is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi financial regulations.
• Proven analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
• Locally available candidates with a transferable visa are highly preferred; immediate availability is an advantage.
