Chief Accountant – Jeddah

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Chief Accountant to lead our accounting function in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage month‑end closing processes and prepare financial statements.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely processing.
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA (Saudi tax) regulations and Zakat requirements.
• Support cash‑flow management, internal audits, and external audit coordination.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi tax & Zakat regulations.
