Chief Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead the pre‑opening and operational readiness of Hyatt Place Al Ula. You will ensure safe, reliable, and sustainable engineering operations from day one, guiding a high‑performing team while maintaining full compliance and cost discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑opening engineering setup, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensure compliance with local and international codes and Hyatt standards.
• Drive preventive maintenance, energy‑conservation, and sustainability initiatives.
• Manage budgets, CAPEX, contractors, and engineering projects.
• Lead green initiatives and energy‑saving projects.
• Develop, coach, and inspire the engineering team.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical).
• 3–5 years experience in hotels as Head of Engineering (mid‑size) or Assistant Engineer (large‑scale property).
• Strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Proven ability to deliver results while building a strong team.
