Chief Executive Officer – Academy

About the role

The Chief Executive Officer – Academy will define and execute the Academy’s strategic direction, drive sustainable growth and create new revenue‑generating opportunities. Reporting to senior leadership, the CEO will lead commercial, academic and operational activities to deliver high‑quality learning solutions that meet organisational and market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term strategy aligned with the Group’s objectives.
• Translate the Academy’s vision into commercial, academic and operational plans and foster an innovative, customer‑focused culture.
• Lead business development to acquire corporate, government and institutional clients, build pipelines and negotiate contracts and long‑term learning agreements.
• Oversee programme and product development, ensuring market‑relevant training, certifications and executive education are commercially viable and scalable.
• Manage financial performance, including revenue, profitability, budgeting and cost control.
• Represent the Academy at industry events and establish strategic partnerships with universities, professional bodies and private‑sector organisations.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in education, training or related services.
• Strong track record of business growth, partnership development and revenue generation.
• Excellent understanding of market trends, capability gaps and emerging learning opportunities.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive performance‑oriented culture.
