Chief Financial Officer

About the role

Foreground is partnering with an established organization to appoint a Chief Financial Officer. This senior leadership position will drive financial governance, operational efficiency, and long‑term growth across a multi‑entity operation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust internal controls.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and consolidated reporting.
• Improve finance processes, systems and governance, strengthening the financial infrastructure.
• Ensure technology supports timely reporting and informed decision‑making.
• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, guiding capital allocation and shaping long‑term financial strategy.
• Manage banking relationships, funding requirements and treasury activities, including credit facility structuring.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years as CFO or Deputy CFO in a complex, multi‑entity organization.
• Recognized professional qualification (CPA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Hands‑on experience in a full‑cycle ERP implementation from requirements to post‑go‑live optimisation.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, financial governance, and applicable tax and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record in treasury management and banking relationship management.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, with strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
