Chief Information Security Officer

About the role

The Chief Information Security Officer will shape and drive the enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy for a digital‑first organisation that handles highly sensitive data and operates under strict regulatory oversight. Reporting to executive leadership, the CISO will ensure the company’s security posture aligns with national and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, risk management and compliance program.
• Oversee security architecture, governance frameworks and incident‑response processes.
• Advise the board and senior executives on cyber risk, resilience and strategic security decisions.
• Manage third‑party security providers and coordinate internal security teams.
• Align security initiatives with regulatory requirements specific to Saudi Arabia and similar markets.

Required profile

• Proven senior cybersecurity leadership experience in regulated or large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Strong exposure to risk frameworks, compliance obligations and security operations.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or comparable regulatory jurisdictions is highly preferred.
• Technical depth combined with excellent executive communication skills.
• Industry‑recognised security certifications are strongly valued.
